General Advice

Things You Need to Know

What to Wear: Dress as you normally would when meeting with a client.

What Not to Wear: Same color shirt & tie, narrow stripes, or busy patterns

Relax: Speak and move as you normally would. Just be yourself.

Posture: Try to sit up straight and not slouch back into the chair.

Keep it Short: Short answers are optimal - no more than a few sentences long. Stick to your key messages and talking points. We'll help you get them across in your video.

Makeup: The lights are hot and will make you perspire - men just need a little powder. Women should wear their normal amount and not over do it.

Drink Water: Keep some water handy during your video shoot.

Eye Contact: Look at the interviewer not at the camera. Interact and converse with the interviewer as if there isn't a camera in the room.

Enjoy It: Try to relax & enjoy the process - it's really not so bad. We are here to help make this a productive and positive experience for you. Your preparation and willingness to listen to our advice is key to your video success!

Benefits on Online Video

There are 25 billion videos watched each month in the US alone. So it should be no surprise that web video offers an important opportunity for small businesses to connect with a wider audience. Online video represents a chance to reach thousands if not millions of people using a relatively simple and inexpensive format.

All it takes is a little time and VOTN, and your message could very quickly be shared and spread to a large number of customers.
