Tracks & Trails Season 12

And then there was Season 12.

We are very proud to be in Season 12 of Tracks and Trails, broadcast on RTE One Television.  

This year, the series took on a fresh feel as it was guided by broadcaster, musician, and podcaster Doireann Ní Ghlacáin, who explores trails across the country alongside special guests.

Each episode sees Doireann walking and talking with well-known personalities as they share their deep connections to the Irish countryside. From woodland strolls to mountain hikes, and ancient ruins to forgotten villages, the conversations flow as freely as the stunning scenery. Along the way, guests open up about what makes these places so meaningful to them and why slowing down to immerse themselves in nature matters now more than ever.

•The Project:

1.To produce and direct series 12 of Tracks & Trails - a TV programme that has been broadcast on RTE since 2011. Tracks & Trails features an abundance of beautiful walks, hikes and trails all over Ireland.

2.To create an online identity for this content and reach and engage with a digital audience both nationally and internationally in partnerships with the relevant partners including RTE, the OPW, Coillte and the County Councils and Tourist Boards. 

‍This season’s line up features Former RTE new anchor Bryan Dobson, Ex-BBC Political Editor Mark Devenport, RTE broadcaster Claire Byrne, journalist Fiona Mitchell, singer Brooke Scullion, social media star James Kavanagh and Barry Murphy of Hermitage Green.
